![]() With 45 outrageous Attack Combos and Super Moves, hi-octane combat plays a large role in winning the game. ![]() Add in a Multi Tap to the SideCar mode and take on a pair of friends! ![]() Try the unique sidecar mode where one player drives and the rider fights off all other challengers race your friends for bragging rights in Skull-to-Skull or try Cops and Robbers, where one player assumes the role of the cop, the other his target. You also have the option of playing on the right side of the law in Five-O mode, where you are a police officer out to bust suspects and fill your rasher quota.įive all new multi-player modes have been added for intense competition. In Road Rash: Jail Break it's up to you to bust the toughest rasher of all time, Spaz, out of jail! To accomplish this, you'll have to join a motorcycle gang and move up through the ranks by succeeding at a variety of challenges and winning races. The Road Rash series continues with an all new chapter of intense motorcycle combat and racing action. The game's title is based on the slang term for the severe friction burns that can occur in a motorcycling fall where skin comes into contact with the ground at high speed. Road Rash and two of its sequels later appeared on the EA Replay collection for the PSP. Six different games were released from 1991 to 1999, and a 2004 licensed port for the Game Boy Advance was released. The game was originally released for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, but was ported to several other systems. Hopefully this series will be continued on the PS2.Road Rash is the name of a motorcycle-racing video game series by Electronic Arts, in which the player participates in violent illegal street races. It's basically the same game but with multiplayer and an extended story line. In the end, if you like what RR 3D offers, you'll dig RR jail Break as well. Story Mode now involves fighting to win the respect of your gang and midget friend. Overall, I miss the Thrash and Big Game Modes of years past. The problem is, mishaps fling you so far it takes forever to jog back to your bike. Unfortunately the post-wreck sprint back to the bike has made a return. Sidecar Battle alleviates the problem somewhat with one guy driving and the other attacking. It's tough to keep an opponent contained for a long exchange of blows. ![]() Technically multiplayer works fine the frame-rate keeps up and the computer bikes play along, yet it all could be better. ![]() Two-player is a welcome addition and pumps life into an otherwise so-so title. Most of the changes involve the play modes. Needless to say, the graphics haven't changed significantly from RR 3D. You'd think they could smooth it out just a tad more. As a big fan of the 3DO Road Rash, I find it hard to stomach the blocky 3D look of Road Rash 3D and Jail Break. ![]()
